Vandglimt is worked from bottom and up.
The body is worked in the round on circular needle.
Then work is divided into front and back and each part is finished separately.
Finally, stitches are picked up along the right side of armhole and arm hole hem is worked in stockinette stitches. The neckband is worked the same way.

The old gardens of the Italian town of Tivoli are filled with water reservoirs, small waterfalls, and canals, surrounded by beautiful old buildings and trees.
It’s easy to imagine how the light reflects off the water on a bright summer day and creates a shimmering effect. This is where the inspiration for this top comes from.
The top is also available for children and is called Lille Vandglimt.
