Vanilla Dishcloth is a simple, easy dishcloth worked in garter stitch on a diagonal - corner to corner. While the pattern was initially designed for worsted / Aran weight yarn, it also includes instructions that will allow you to knit the dishcloth in different yarn weight.
This pattern has been tech edited and test knit!
Sizes
One size - width 18 cm (7”), length 18 cm (7”)
Materials
yarn: 40 m (45 yds) of Paris, Drops - 100% cotton, 75 m (82 yds) per 50g, or similar worsted / Aran weight (category 4 - medium) yarn. Sample worked in colorway 17 (off-white).
needles: 5 mm (US 8) straight or circular needles, or to fit gauge
notions: tapestry needle
Gauge
18 stitches x 28 rows in 10x10 cm (4x4”) in garter stitch, blocked
