The Vanilla V-Neck Cardigan is anything but plain! This classically designed piece has the look of a set-in sleeve with the ease of top-down seamless construction. It can be made in any yarn weight making this a fun stash buster. Stitch it in a solid color or customize with stripes or contrasting bands.

This semi-fitted cardigan is worked flat with a single ended Tunisian hook seamlessly from the top down. Shaping for the sleeve cap and armscye is integrated into the yoke. Pay close attention to increase points. After dividing the sleeve stitches, the body front and back are worked as a single piece while the sleeve stitches are picked up later and worked flat to cuff. Binding is added last. Key fitting points are noted throughout the pattern. Knowledge of basic Tunisian crochet worked flat is required.
