VANILLIN
Vanillin is the primary component of vanilla bean extract. These mittens are simple and fun, but still provide something new - the perfect vanilla ­mittens to try out a sideways mitten construction. As a bonus they have an amazing fit!

The pattern starts from the outside edge of the hand, works its way to the inner edge where you add a thumb gusset and thumb. After that you continue with the second side of the hand. The provisional cast-on edge as well as the thumb is grafted using kitchener stitch for garter stitch. These mittens are quick and enjoyable!

SIZE
One size, ladies size M/L.
The sample mittens are approximately 20 cm ­circumference x 25.5 cm from cuff to finger tip. For smaller mittens, go down one or two needle sizes.

GAUGE
Ca 20 sts x 44 rows = 10 x 10 cm in ­garter stitch on 3.5 mm needles.
