Vanishing Point is an incredibly warm and cosy hat, worked with the double-knitting technique, creating a hat that is twice as thick, twice as snuggly, and twice the fun of a normal knitted hat.

It is also completely reversible, so you get two hats in one, and can choose whichever colour scheme suits your mood or your outfit!

This is a one-size fits all hat, and is easily big enough to fit a man’s size large head (My other half’s head is 23.5 inch / 60 cms, and it easily fits him!). To knit for a smaller head, (eg. 20 in / 51 cms) feel free to use smaller needles, thinner yarn, or even drop a repeat of the pattern (just cast on the correct number of stitches accordingly - each repeat is 12 sts). At specified gauge, each pattern repeat relates to 2.5 ins / 5 cms (approx) unstretched.

Vanishing Point features diamond-shaped blocks around its body, and where the crown starts to decrease in size, so the diamonds get smaller and smaller, until they finally disappear. Unusually, the decreases are hidden within the pattern, rather than as hard, defined lines, so the hat appears to get smaller and smaller all of its own accord.
