Vanlife is a comfortable sweater, knitted seamlessly, top-down. You start knitting the yoke for the back then fronts are picked on the bottom from shoulders and formed with shorts rows. Then, the body (back and front) is first worked back and forth then in round. The buttons bands are picked up. The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round. It is also possible to knit short sleeves and Vanlife will then become a tank top!

Finished bust circumference approximately: 37.5 (39.5 - 43.5) 45.5 (49.25 - 53) 57 (61 - 65) inches or 95 (100 - 110) 116 (125 - 135) 145 (155 - 165) cm.
Recommended ease: 6 to 8 inches or 15 to 20 cm of positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number.
Sample is shown in size 3 with 6.25 inches or 16 cm of positive ease.

GAUGE: 21 sts x 30 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in stockinette st with 4 mm/US 6 circular needles.

YARN: this sweater is knitted with two strands of yarn: a fingering weight and a lace weight held together. Approximately 955 (1065 - 1205) 1360 (1530 - 1635) 1885 (1985 - 2085) yards or 870 (970 - 1100) 1240 (1395 - 1495) 1630 (1720 - 1810) m of each yarn.
If you prefer, you can knit this sweater with only one strand of a DK weight yarn.

NOTIONS: needles sizes 3 mm/US 2.5 and 3.5 mm/US 4 (rib) and 4 mm/US 6 (body and sleeves) 80 cm/32 inches, tapestry needle, cable to hold live stitches, 2 stitches markers, a tape measure and 6 buttons of about 15 mm.

Vanlife est un pull confortable tricoté de haut en bas sans couture. On commence l’empiècement par le dos puis les devants sont relevés sur le haut des épaules formées par des rangs raccourcis. Le corps (dos et devant) est ensuite travaillé en aller/retour puis en rond. L’encolure et les pattes de boutonnage sont relevées. Les mailles des manches sont relevées et tricotées en rond. Il est aussi possible de tricoter des manches courtes et Vanlife deviendra alors un débardeur !

Tour de poitrine du vêtement terminé environ 95 (100 - 110) 116 (125 - 135) 145 (155 - 165) cm.
Il est conseillé de le porter avec une aisance positive de 15 à 20 cm. Pour choisir la meilleure taille, mesurer le tour de poitrine et ajouter l’aisance souhaitée, puis choisir la circonférence de poitrine finie la plus proche de ce nombre. Il est bien sûr possible de choisir d’avoir un tricot plus ou moins près du corps et de tricoter une taille avec plus ou moins d’aisance que préconisé.
Il est présenté en taille 3 avec 16 cm d’aisance positive.

ECHANTILLON : 21 m x 30 rgs pour 10 x 10 cm en jersey avec les aiguilles 4.

LAINE : le pull se tricote avec un mélange de deux fils : un fil de type fingering et un fil de type lace.
Environ 870 (970 - 1100) 1240 (1395 - 1495) 1630 (1720 - 1810) m de fil de chaque fil. Mais il est aussi possible de le tricoter avec un seul fil de type DK.

MATERIEL : aiguilles suggérées n° 3 (côtes) et n°4 (corps et manches) de 80 cm, une aiguille à laine, câbles pour mettre les mailles en attente, 2 anneaux marqueurs, un mètre à mesurer et 6 boutons d’environ 15 mm.
