Vanna Sweater Lace
The Vanna Sweater is worked from the top town with a so- called ”European shoulder”. Cast on stitches to shape back
of the neck and shoulder stitches at either side. Then work back and forth with increases inside of the shoulder stitches at either side until the full width is reached. Continue straight down until the armhole has the appropriate measurements. Then pick up and knit stitches first for working first one
side of the front and then the other. Join the fronts and work until the same height as the back. Now join the sections and continue working in the round across the stitches of the body. Then pick up and knit stitches at the armholes. The sleeves are worked from the top down. Finally, pick up and knit stitches for the neckband, which is worked in rib stitch.
