Vanten Frida
Difficulty: intermediate to advanced. This pattern is a bit challenging, as it entails long floats. It calls for an experienced colorwork knitter - or a quite stubborn beginner.
The pattern is charted. It has several colors included, but only two are ever used within a single row.
Yarn: Finull from Rauma or any Fingering weight yarn that has about 350 meters per 100 grams.
I used the following shades of Rauma Finull for my mittens. I used the same shade for the cuff and the hair, but I’ve divided them up in this list to make it easier for you to choose differently. This is a perfect project for leftover yarns!
FLOWER SHADE: 435 Mørk rød (12 g)
HAIR SHADE: 436 Svart (19 g)
SKIN SHADE: 4078 Lys beige melert (13 g)
BRAID SHADE 1: 4686 Skarp rosa (3 g)
BRAID SHADE 2: 499 Mørl Bringebærrød (3 g)
CUFF SHADE 1 : 400 Hvit (3 g)
CUFF SHADE 2: 484 Petrol (8 g)
RIBBING SHADE: 436 Svart (6 g)
