Lace: 1 inch wide and variable length
Coaster: 4 inches x 4 inches

Yarn: Crochet cotton size 8
Hook: 1.75mm

Sewing needle and thread
Fabric of various prints and colours

Design Notes: The strips of lace are crocheted from the narrow end to the desired length. A long enough strip of lace can be made and cut for use with several coasters. Use fine thread for the laces so that they remain flat on the fabric. Keep the lace near the edge of the coaster so that it doesn’t get in the way of objects placed on the coaster.
