Varied Hills and Valleys Blanket
This blanket uses filet crochet to create a triangle pattern. The pattern is reminiscent of the hills and valleys in the English countryside. The added texture is created with some puff stitches in the middle of the triangles.
The blanket comes in one size. It is easy to customise to be made larger or smaller. To add extra repeats add 16 more stitches per repeat. This version alternates the triangle filet pattern with blocks of tr/dc (UK/US) rows.
The blanket uses DK/lightly worsted weight acrylic yarn. Any DK weight yarn can be used as a substitute.
The sample used 1623m of yarn. This is approximately 39m for the triangle rows and 24m for a block of tr/dc rows.
The pattern provides options for two different colourways. Lighter colours will make the puff stitches stand out more then a darker colour.
