Variegated Necklace
From the book: “We all find ourselves in a position of wanting to create something, but unable to decide what to make. At these times, I look at items I really love and reinterpret them into beadwork. A version of this necklace, for example, was inspired by my favorite scarf. Dana loved this idea, and chose one of her scarves to use as a point of departure to design her own version of this piece.
”Choosing one overall color palate with a few contrasting colors makes this necklace exceptional. Try arranging your beads in a subtle gradation and throw in a couple of unexpected accents.“
