These are short footie type socks featuring a hemmed picot cuff and heel turn in the slip stitch pattern of the heel flap. The name Varsity Socks came about because the color blocks reminded me of sports team uniforms.
This is a good little project for using up bits of yarn left over from other pairs of socks. I listed one skein of each color in the materials section but you really won’t use a full skein of either one. In fact, if you were to knit in a single color, you might be able to squeak out a pair of footies from a single ball of Fixation.
