Ve Sommer is a light and small summer cowl knitted in cotton or linen. It is knit from the top down. You start by knitting i-cord, then you pick up stitches and knit in the round before you cast off the neck and work the front shaping back and forth. You finish off by picking up stitches around the outer edge and knit a decorative i-cord.

Gauge: 19 sts on 10 cm/4 inches

Needle size: 3.5 mm (US 4)

Yarn: Rauma Petunia (cotton) or Rauma Pelini (linen and cotton) 110 m on 50 g.

Yarn quantity: Less than 30 g of each color for striped version, or 50 g of one color if you knit without the stripes.

You will also need: Stitch markers and a needle to weave in loose ends.
