Easy striped hat with traveling stitches and slipped stitches. Uses a small amount of four different colors, so it is a good stash buster also.

I used Knit Picks Brava Sport because of these colors, but any sport weight yarn will work, although the design will show better with a more tightly spun, smoother yarn. Yarn with a halo will obscure the pattern a bit.

The finished hat has a circumference of 21 inches and stretches up to about 24 inches. If you want a smaller hat, use smaller needles or thinner yarn. You’ll have to swatch if you plan to change yarn or needles, to see what gives you the right fabric and gauge.
