Vector Socks
These socks are designed to be fun to knit. The pattern also adds some visual interest to the traditional rib.
The cuff is a simple k3, p3 rib. Just when you start to get bored, the heel, gussets, and instep continue in a k3, p3 rib using the natural flow of the socks in a unique way. The entire sock is ribbed except for the bottom of the foot. As a result, the sock is very elastic and will fit a wide range of sizes. Socks are knit beginning with casting on 78 stitches.
This pattern uses 400 yards of fingering weight yarn. The pattern will pop best in a yarn colorway that is not self-striping.
