VeeSkirt is an asymmetrical skirt with diagonal stripes. It is knitted diagonally to create a good fit. The skirt is knitted in three steps: first the waistband (through which you thread a length of elastic). The waistband is worked in the round. Then you work the stripe pattern working back and forth on the needle, starting from one side of the skirt. To give the design shape, you incorporate stitches from the waistband on each row and increase down this one side. When you have worked all around the waistband, you continue working in the round, although now with decreases on the opposite side. You can make VeeSkirt any length you wish. The pattern includes instructions for a short and a midi-length skirt.
