Project Description: Featuring a lovely weave and fringe, the Vefa cowl is an easy, fast and satisfying weekend project and a cozy, fun way to warm you! Vefa means ‘weave’ in Old Norse.
Size and Finished Measurements: The cowl is 10” wide and 23” in circumference at the neck and = 44” in circumference at the bottom edge, as written. Easily adjustable.
Materials and Equipment:
Suggested Yarns: Any super bulky yarn, approximately 190 yds, shown in 2.07 skeins Rowan Drift, (100 g 100% wool, 87 yds, 80 m) Needles: US size 17 (12.75 mm); 4 stitch holders, darning needle and crochet hook for aid in adding fringe.
Gauge: 2 sts x 2.5 rows in stockinette stitch per inch with US size 17 (12.75mm) needles, unblocked.
