VEITCH’S BLUE THISTLE SOCKS by Twinset & Purl

This design was originally created for the December Botanical Sock Club in 2022. The tucked stitch used creates stitches that look like mini thistles. The ribbed nature of the pattern makes a well fitting sock and that suits everyone.

Pattern Information
Sizes: 1 (Adult M, 64 sts)/ 2 (Adult L, 72 sts)
To fit approximately 8-inch (20 cm)/9-inch (22.5 cm) foot circumference.

Yarn: Botanical Yarn Merino Sock (75% SW Merino Wool/25% Nylon) 100g/425m (464yds) in the Veitch’s Blue Thistle colour way.

Needles: 2.5 mm / US 1.5 (or size needed to get gauge).

Gauge: 8 sts & 12 rounds = 1 inch / 2.5 cm in stocking stitch
