Velma the Sea Turtle
Materials:
5.5mm hook
Worsted (#5) weight velvet yarn - 95 yards - 2 colors
(2) 16 mm safety eyes
Polyfill - 1.5 oz
Scissors
Sewing needle
Stitch Markers
Notes:
This pattern creates a 9 inch long crocheted sea turtle.
You can use whatever hook size you prefer to achieve tight stitches, but this may effect your overall size.
You will crochet all 4 limbs, the head, and the belly in Color One (C1), and the shell in Color Two (C2).
This is a mostly NO-SEW pattern. The only sewing is to tack the head to the shell to hold it upright.
All ends get tucked inside the shell when all pieces are crocheted together.
This pattern is worked in continuous rounds.
