Velociraptor Charts
The Velociraptor Charts used to make the Velociraptor Sweater pictured. This pattern contains charts only.
The sweater was inspired by my wonderfully nerdy husband. After asking politely to open his birthday gift early (by a full day!) he was speechless with the number of people who offered to pay him for the sweater.
While at a bar two girls attempted to bribe the bouncer with $50 to rip the sweater off my husband’s back and deliver it to them.
The bouncer laughed and laughed informing my husband that for a bit more he might have complied!
The chart can be used for any number of knitting projects: hats, mittens, dishcloths, satchels, mittens, etc. The sky is the limit!
Gauge is very important when starting your project. The velociraptor sweater originally made with this chart had:
5 st. wide x 8 st. high = 1 square inch.
It used sport-weight yarn on size US 4 (3.5 mm) needles.
Two chart variations are given for flexibility of your project. After obtaining your gauge select the 32 stitch wide or 40 stitch wide chart and begin!
