“Velvet Hug” is an amigurumi heart-shaped toy.
I designed it having in mind to gift it in a beloved person of mine for the Valentines day. “Velvet Hug” has long arms so you can attach in them a card a letter or even a small present with a knot.

It is designed with velvet yarn but you can use any yarn you love. I tried it with worsted weight and with fingering and the results are also fabulous.

The size depends from the yarn and the hook you decide to use.
My only advice (especially when using velvet yarn) is to use a much smaller hook then suggested, one or even 2 mm down, so you won’t have any holes in your “velvet hug”.
