Velveteen Rabbit Shawl
This pattern is one of 4 patterns in the For the Love of Stories eBook. Unfortunately, individual pattern purchases cannot be credited toward the purchase of the eBook.
Inspired by The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams, this gentle crescent-shaped shawl is knit from the top center out to the edge. The body of the shawl is knit in a simple flower garden pattern reminiscent of the garden where the rabbit is left after the boy becomes sick. The teardrop scallops have a fairy-like magic to them as they slightly ruffle the edge of the shawl. Whether your shawl is knit in a worn velvet inspired color or not, this shawl will become a very real favorite!
