Venation is a stranded hat constructed by twisting stitches and colours to create a leaf effect pattern. This needs a fair amount of concentration to remember which colour twists in each direction but once you have that down you can be happy away.

The hemmed brim shows a peek of the contrasting colour underneath and the crown breaks the leaves down into circular completion.
