Venture is a textured square blanket knit in the round from the centre out. Tonal slipped stitch texture sections anchor simple stockinette in three harmonious speckled or multi-coloured shades. A picot bind off gives the outer edges a polished flare.

The sample blanket is knit in Flock Fibre Studio’s Fireside DK yarn (230 m / 255 yd per 115 g skein):

1 skein contrast colour (B) Antique Shop
1 skein contrast colour (C) Wild Ponies
2 skeins contrast colour (D) Patina (only a small amount of the second skein was used)
