Venus Cowl
Knitrino works like a magazine publishing curated pattern collections for a limited time, after which the rights revert to the designer. This pattern is no longer available in Knitrino.
If you haven’t yet experienced Knitrino, new customers are invited to use code NEWFRIENDS for a special price. To get the pattern in Knitrino (or be invited to install) click this link from your phone.
Knitrino is like Google Maps for knitting patterns: Click a stitch to see how to do it, highlight your current place, track your progress step by step, see charts in your yarn colors, see only your size, and more. Knitrino’s goal is help people grow into the knitters they aspire to be. There are no PDFs, no printing, just purchase your pattern and go!

The Venus Cowl by designer Safiyyah Talley features rich cables and bobble textures on a background of variegated DK-weight yarn held double, creating a beautiful marled look. A delightful project for both seasoned and aspiring knitters, you’ll love how quickly it works up! And with the click of a stitch, you’ll have concise video tutorials that show you every technique.
We’re thrilled to partner with our friends at Queen City Yarn and AT Hanes House Yarns to offer beautiful yarn bundles for your cowl (pattern must be purchased separately in Knitrino).
Yarn from AT Hanes House Yarns
Yarn from Queen City Yarn
You’ll need 1 skein each of 2 colors of DK-weight yarn.
What knitters are saying about Knitrino
Wendy: “Following a pattern in Knitrino is effortless in a way I didn’t know I was missing till I had it.”
Julie: “You all really have changed my knitting life   ”
Michelle: “I never want to knit another pattern that’s not in Knitrino ever again.”
Haley: “Just going to say again, thank you for creating this app! If you had told me that I would be telling someone that “fair isle is easy”, I would have laughed. I didn’t realize that standard patterns were the problem until this!“
We know Knitrino isn’t for everyone. We built Knitrino for those who are looking for improved pattern usability on their phones. We are a small indie production of quality, curated patterns, like a magazine, and are entirely self-funded. You cannot import PDFs (there are good tools for this already). Because of the nature of our interactive tools each pattern is lovingly built by us and takes countless hours to create. We are aiming to uplift the creative work of indie designers and pay them generously upfront, about twice what most magazines pay. Please reach out to us with any questions support@knitrino.com
