A colourwork cowl with a difference, Vera combines Fair Isle and duplicate stitch embroidery to create a striking pattern effect. Perfect for knitters with a love for colour and embellishment, Vera is an ideal project to expand your surface design skill set. This design requires six colours of DK-weight yarn: three for the Fair Isle and three for the embroidery.

• Tapestry needle for embroidery and weaving in ends
Construction Notes
Cowl is worked in the round.
To achieve a slight tapering towards the neck, a needle one size smaller than the main needle is used towards the end of the cowl.
Embroidery is added with duplicate stitch, after the cowl is blocked.
