Here is a fun and unique shawl/scarf to work on while watching TV, staycationing, or relaxing on the beach!

This versatile, fully reversible, and stash-friendly shawl will become your go-to project and accessory. You will catch on to the rhythm and simplicity of this pattern, but will not be bored. A couple of rows will demand just a bit of focus while most others will be easy, mindless knitting, yet producing an interesting looking shawl. You can customize this piece and make it as long and wide as you wish. Made with cotton yarn, wear it in Spring and Summer. Made with wool or a wool blend, it will keep you warm during cold winter months or chilly Fall evenings. The beginning tab and the ribbing add interest. Simple, yet stylish. You can easily customize this pattern. If you are not inclined to work short rows to end this piece, just knit a few rows of garter stitch before you bind off.

Choose a variegated yarn to add pizzazz to the fairly simple stitch patterns used in this project. Find some yarn in your stash and get started! Gauge is not crucial for this project since you can choose to make it as small or as big as you wish. When making a swatch, use the needle size that gives you the drape you like. Make it your own by using fingering, dk, or worsted yarn!
