Verity is a classical girl’s naming meaning “truth.” I think the romantic image it conjures is perfect for this delicate cardigan. I hope you have a special little girl in your life who will look perfect in this.
For a companion piece featuring cables, check out the Orlando Cardigan.
Verity is a top down, seamless knit. The lace panel keeps things interesting, while the straightforward seamless construction eliminates bulky seams. Knit in a light fingering weight yarn, the cardigan is a perfect layering piece for spring weather.
The Verity Baby Cardigan is inspired by traditional Nottinghamshire lacework. The beautiful detail makes it an heirloom knit for a treasured baby. I recommend mother of pearl buttons to complete the vintage look.
The pattern includes a full schematic. The lace panel is included both as a chart and as written instructions.
