The normal picot trellis stitch is a bit different than how this stitch is normally worked. Since I was using a finer yarn, it was very time consuming to try and work a single crochet into one of the chain stitches.

Therefore, the picot stitch is worked into the chain space rather than the chain stitch. Working the stitch this way, it is less defined; however, it still adds a lovely texture to this open weave infinity scarf.
