Part of my immediate family lives in Vermont so for Christmas one year I decided to knit the same hat for each member of the family in different colors – a hat is something every Vermonter needs! I knew that I wanted to do something in fair-isle, however after searching online for an easy yet interesting pattern and having no success, I decided to create my own.

After you finish the hat you should have enough yarn leftover to be able to do the hat again if you switch the MC & CC. Think ‘his’ and ‘hers!’
