Vernice Gradient Shawl
This design was inspired by the brilliance of autumn and all the incredible hues of changing leaves. Vernice is an elongated crescent, which can be worn as a long scarf or as a traditional shawl. Add a few sparkling beads in the border to add texture and drape, and to evoke raindrops or autumn berries.
It is knitted from the top down starting with the easy garter stitch short rows. The lace border is worked in textured stitches creating shapes reminiscent of autumn foliage. Few sparkling beads evocative of raindrops or autumn berries are added throughout the bottom of the lace for extra texture and drape.

This has been corrected in the new pdf.
