This hat is very versatile and can be made with or without a pom! It can be worn with the brim folded up or left down. IN addition, it can be worn as a slouchy hat or shortened and made as a beanie. It is a great stretchy, uisex pattern!

I have personally been affected by cancer 5 times- yes----5! I am currently in treatment for Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. This is my 3rd bout with breast cancer. I am a pattern designer, thriver, and homeschool mom to two small kids. Things can be challenging at times. I hope that you will rise to the challenge and make a few hats to send to this wonderful cause. Also, feel free to use my pattern to donate hats to your local cancer center. MATERIALS NEEDED:
Size 7 (4.5 mm) double pointed or circular knitting needles
Worsted weight SOFT yarn (If making for chemo patients- or others with hair loss)
Measuring tape and scissors
Pom Maker (optional)
Stitch Marker
Large blunt needle for sewing in ends
