DESCRIPTION
The Verso Beanie is a top down, striped and textured crochet hat pattern. This beanie matches the Verso Scarf.
This set is a perfect gift for men, but of course works for everyone.

• MATERIALS
#4 medium weight yarn, pictured in Furls Whims Merino light grey
Rec yarn by size:
Baby (MC) ~80 yds/73m and (CC) ~55 yds/50m
Toddler (MC) ~100 yds/91m and (CC) ~65 yds/59m
Child (MC) ~100 yds/91m and (CC) ~75 yds/69m
Teen/Sm Adult (MC) ~120 yds/109m and (CC) ~85 yds/77m
M/L Adult (MC) ~120 yds/109m and (CC) ~93 yds/85m
5mm crochet hook, or hook needed to meet gauge; optionally you may use a half hook size smaller for a snugger fitting ribbing.
yarn needle, scissors, measuring tape

SIZING
To fit age (head circumference): baby 6-12 mos (16”/40.6cm) toddler (18”/45.7cm), child (20”/50.8cm), teen/sm adult (21”/53.3cm), med/lg adult (22”/56cm)

STITCHES/SKILLS
Crochet in the round, dc, sl st, changing colors

GAUGE
4”/10cm x 4”/10cm = 15 dc x 11 rows in the pattern, with 5mm hook, after blocking
