Pattern is unisex- hat pictured was made as a Christmas present for a male relative.

Hook K is used in this pattern, but this can be adjusted to make hat smaller or larger based on if you go up or down a size in hook. Yarn label suggests a hook L, but it seemed too big for me. I have also used a Hook J with ease using this particular yarn.

I used approximately 115 yards of yarn. If using the same type of yarn that I did (Loops & Threads Charisma), you will need to buy 2 skeins of yarn, as it will use just slightly more than the yardage amount in one skein.
