Verve Hat and Cowl Set
Verve hat and cowl set is perfect pair of accessories for cold autumn/winter days. The cowl is designed to be worn around shoulders over the coat.
Both hat and cowl are knitted in the round on circular needles in combination of stockinette stitch and vertical rows of slipped stitches on reverse stockinette background. The cowl is decorated with I-cord tie which is inserted into top part of cowl.
If you would like to skip I-cord option for toddler/child cowl due to safety concerns, I recommend to knit first 14 round in stockinette stitch or 1 x 1 ribbing using US 7(4.5 mm) knitting needles. Alternatively, I-cord can be inserted into the cowl and tacked with yarn and tapestry needle from WS, so it can’t be moved and tighten.
Knitting pattern for Verve Hat and cowl set is easy to follow and suitable for advanced beginners. It contains row-by row instructions for all sizes from baby through adults and photos.
