This knitting pattern includes two sizes 0-3 months and 3-6 months.

BEGINNERS – VERY EASY

This is an upgrade to our beginner’s Double Breasted Jacket pattern, and now includes both sizes.

The patterns are very easy to follow and straight forward, they’re written using standard UK knitting terms.

Materials required:

250(300)g DK yarn. We used DROPS Lima as it’s a lovely dense DK yarn.
1 pair each of 4mm and 4.5mm knitting needles.
2 large buttons.

You will use the following techniques:

For the jacket:

Cast on
Garter stitch (plain/knit stitch)
Simple increase shaping
Cast off

For the hat:

Cast on
Garter stitch (plain/knit stitch)
Simple decrease shaping

For the mitts:
Cast on
Garter stitch (plain/knit stitch)
Decrease shaping
Cast off

For the boots:

Cast on
Garter stitch (plain/knit stitch)
Increase and decrease shaping
Cast off
