Very Feminin Hooded Scarf
It took me over 80 hours to come to this very feminine and very chic hooded scarf pattern.
The hood has a ‘tight fit’ and a lace knit ‘veil’ that is draped over it. This gives the hooded scarf lots of glamour and drama!
It really is a piece of ‘couture’ with a very exclusive and sophisticated apparel. You won’t be able to pass the streets unnoticed when wearing this!
The drape on the back is very elegant and will add flair to any outfit. This hooded scarf is designed to look both good on the head as well as hanging on the back.
The ‘veil’ can be draped in different ways. By tucking the middle part underneath the hood, the drape is totally different. Or fold it forward and let the hood slide down a bit, for instance. It’s really great to experiment a bit with the variations!
I’d say this pattern is for skilled knitters. Yet I do believe that if you know how to make a knit and a purl ánd are in possession of patience, you can knit anything! And you can always mail me if you get stuck in the pattern. I’m more than happy to help you out.
The length of the scarf (including the hooded part) is approx. 75” (1m90). The width is approx. 8”(20cm). Both can be altered.
The hooded scarf is knit with a crochet finish.
