This pattern is for the caterpillar amigurumi toy pictured above. Finished caterpillar measures approximately 20 inches in length. Size of the finished product will vary depending on amount of stuffing used and tightness of stitch. Instructions are included for making this caterpillar with both super bulky yarn and worsted weight yarn.

Size “L” hook (8MM) and “H” hook (5MM) , stitch marker (optional), poly-fil, and a tapestry needle
Super Bulky yarn in green and red (150 yards of green, 25 yards of red)
Worsted Weight yarn in yellow, green, and brown (small amounts of each)

Special Techniques: You will need to know how to create a Magic Circle, how to crochet two stitches together as a decrease, and how to whip stitch (or sew an opening closed) as well as sew pieces together.
