Very Kochi Cardigan is a round shaped raglan cardigan worked from the top down with cute pockets. This seamless cardigan begins with a small garter collar and 3-D cable front bands.
The cabled raglan lines continue uninterrupted and become a pocket opening. The fun of knitting this cardigan is the work of pocket bags made by connecting them to the main body as a one-piece construction. It is unique, but I think that the joy when the pockets are completed successfully is great.

WORK PROCESS
Very Kochi cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan shaping. The yoke is shaped with short rows and raglan increases to the underarms. The body and sleeves are divided and worked separately. At the start of the pocket, the fronts and the back are divided and the fronts are worked first. While working the back, the pocket bags are made and attached to the fronts at the edges of the back. The sleeves are worked circularly to the cuff. The buttonholes and button bands are worked as part of the body of the cardigan.

東風カーディガンは襟から裾に向かって編む、綴じはぎなしのラグラン袖のカーディガンです。ヨークを引き返し編みとラグラン増し目で脇下まで編んだのち、本体と袖を分け、別々に作業していきます。ポケットを開始する段で前後身頃を分けて左右前身頃を先に編み進めておきます。後ろ身頃を編む時は身頃の端でポケット袋を作って前身頃につなげながらの作業になります。袖は輪編みで袖口まで編みます。前立てとボタンホールも本体と同時進行で作っていきます。
