One of my favourite things to do in winter time is to snuggle up in a soft and comfy sweater, sitting on our couch and drinking my coffee.
It’s simple, but in those moments I am full with good feelings and cheerfulness. Very merry!

This cozy sweater is knitted in the round, bottom up and joined on the shoulders with a 3-needle-bind off.
A beautiful and easy cable pattern covers the body, while the wide bishop-style sleeves have no shaping and are worked in plain stockinette stitch. Since each cable is only worked over 4 stitches they can be easily knitted without a cable needle.

All instructions are written out. Additionally there is a chart for the cable pattern.

Sizes:
1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) (10, 11, 12). Sample is shown in size 3 on a 36” bust.
Bust circumference to fit:
33 (35, 37, 39, 41) (43, 45, 47, 49) (51, 53, 55)” {84 (89, 94, 99, 104) (109, 114.5, 119.5, 124.5) (129.5, 134.5, 139.5)cm}.

The pattern is written with a 6.5” to 7.5” {16.5cm to 19.5cm} positive ease.

Techniques:
Knitting, purling, cabling, picking up sts, 3 needle bind off, tubular cast on, tubular bind off.

Material:
Suggested yarn: Primrose Yarn, Cottage DK (330yds/115g) (302m/115g). Fibre content: 70% Merino Wool/ 15% Yak/ 15% Silk. The sample is shown in the colourway ”Miss Murder”. Or other Sport weight yarn.
Total yardage: 1680 (1761, 1844, 1889, 1960) (2094, 2175, 2259, 2334) (2392, 2466, 2550) yds {1536 (1610, 1686, 1727, 1792) (1915, 1989, 2066, 2134) (2187, 2255, 2332)m}.

Needles: US 7 {4.5mm} circular needles with at least 23” (60cm) cable (or other size needed to obtain gauge). One circular needle in the same size or one smaller size for the 3-needle-bind off.
Other: US 6 or US 7 (4 or 4.5mm) crochet hook, waste yarn, tapestry needle to weave in ends.

Gauge:
25 sts & 31 rds=4” {10cm} blocked, knitted in the round in cable pattern.
Fit is determined by cable pattern gauge!
19.5 sts & 31 rds=4” {10cm} blocked, knitted in the round in stockinette stitch.

Eine meiner Lieblingsbeschäftigungen im Winter ist es, mich in einen weichen und bequemen Pullover zu kuscheln, und auf unserer Couch meinen Kaffee zu trinken.
Eine fast alltägliche Situation, aber diese gewöhnlichen Momente machen mich einfach glücklich und froh.

Very Merry ist ein gemütlicher Pullover, der am Stück von unten nach oben gestrickt wird. Später werden Vorder- und Rückenteil mithilfe des 3-Nadel-Abkettens an den Schultern verbunden. Vorne und hinten ist der Pulli komplett von einem schönen und einfachen Zopfmuster bedeckt, die weiten Ärmel sind glatt rechts gestrickt. Da jeder Zopf nur über 4 Maschen gearbeitet wird, kann man auch einfach ohne Zopfnadel arbeiten.

Die Anleitung ist komplett ausgeschrieben. Zusätzlich ist das Zopfmuster auch in Strickschrift abgebildet.

Gröβen:
1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) (10, 11, 12). Der Pulli auf dem Bild zeigt Gröβe 3 an Model mit 89 cm Brustumfang.
Für Brustumfang:
84 (89, 94, 99, 104) (109, 114.5, 119.5, 124.5) (129.5, 134.5, 139.5)cm.

Empfohlene Tragegröβe +16.5cm bis +19.5cm.

Techniken:
Rechts & links stricken, Zöpfe stricken, Maschen aufnehmen, 3-Nadel-Abketten, ”tubular cast on ” oder auch italienischer Anschlag, ”tubular bind off” oder auch italienisches Abnähen.

Material:
Garn: Primrose Yarn, Cottage DK (302m/115g). Garn Zusammensetzung: 70% Merino Wolle/ 15% Yak/ 15% Seide.
Das Musterteil wurde in der Farbe ”Miss Murder” gestrickt. Oder ein anderes Garn in gleicher Garnstärke.
Insgesamt: 1536 (1610, 1686, 1727, 1792) (1915, 1989, 2066, 2134) (2187, 2255, 2332)m.

Nadeln: 4.5mm Rundstricknadel mit einem mindestens 60cm langen Seil. Je nach Maschenprobe, Nadelstärke anpassen. Eine extra Rundstricknadel in der gleichen, oder in einer kleineren Gröβe für das 3-Nadel-Abketten.
Auβerdem: 4mm or 4.5mm Häkelnadel, glatter Wollrest, stumpfe Sticknadel zum Fäden vernähen.

Maschenprobe:
25 M & 31 Rd=10cm in der Runde im Zopfmuster gestrickt und nach dem Spannen gemessen.
Die Passform bezieht sich auf die Maschenprobe im Zopfmuster.
19.5 M & 31 Rd=10cm in der Runde glatt rechts gestrickt und nach dem Spannen gemessen.
