Vespertine is an ode to all things that come alive at night. Cables and bobbles inspired by vining moonflowers are knit in lofty, super bulky weight wool and bordered in twisted ribbing. Increases incorporated into the stitch pattern create an a-line silhouette, draping the cowl gently around your neck or over one shoulder.

MATERIALS
YARN - 270 yards / 246 m of super bulky weight yarn. The
solid color sample was knit with Tahki Yarns
Montana (100% Pure Wool;130 yds/100g) in the “02
Taupe” color, and the multicolor sample
was knit with Noro Kureyon Air (100% Wool; 109
yds /100g) in the “392 Mary Ellen Jasper” color.
Full disclosure: I omitted the last two rounds of ribbing on
the Noro sample so I could get away with using just two
skeins!

required to obtain gauge

NOTIONS - cable needle, stitch markers, and a tapestry needle
for weaving in ends
