GARMENT DESCRIPTION:
loose fit, straight silhouette. Round neckline. Turtleneck.

WORK STEPS:

1. The body is worked as one piece (bottom up) – worked in rounds till armholes.
2. Stitches are divided into Back and Front panels.
3. Back panel, Front panel – worked flat: armholes, neckline and shoulder shaping are formed.
4. Front and Back panels are seamed together along the neckline.
5. Turtleneck.

SIZES (bust, cm):

• XS (78-82 cm / 30 3’4”- 32 1/4”),
• S (86-90 cm / 34” - 35 1/2”),
• M (94-98 cm - 37” - 38 1/2”),
• L (102-108 cm - 40 1/4” - 42 1/2”) for the height from 160-175 cm / 5’2” - 5’9”

MATERIALS:
Various yarns were used for two versions:
A vest with the design “Grid”: Cone yarn (50 % - merino, 50% - acrylic) 50 g – 110 m
Needed: XS – 350 g; S – 350 g; M – 400 g; L – 450 g
A vest with a design “Stockinette stitch”: BØRSTET ALPAKKA Sandnes Garn (96% - brushed alpaca, 4% - nylon) 50 g – 110 m
Needed: XS – 200-250 g; S – 250 g; M – 300 g; L – 350 g

Recommended similar yarn (these examples were used by testers for this pattern):
1) Katia Cotton Merino (70% cotton, 30% merino) 50 g – 105 m.
2) Lanagold Classic Alize (51% acrylic, 49% wool) 100 g – 240 m.
You can use yarn of your choice (cone or skeins) which meets the gauge.
when picking similar yarn make sure to pay attention to the yarn content, it has to be similar to the original, otherwise you might need more yarn!
