Knitting pattern vest Lorna

A girl’s vest with beautiful colors that is partly knitted with the Fair Isle technique.

Construction: this vest is knitted bottom up in the round till the armholes. Then the back and front pieces are knitted separately. The shoulder seams are closed and we have to pick up stitches along the neck and armholes for the rib stitch.

Level: Intermediate (you have to have knowledge about: Fair Isle knitting, knitting in the round and picking up stitches for neck and armholes)

Sizes: available in 5 sizes: 4 years, 6 years, 8 years, 10 years and 12 years and the pattern is available in English and Dutch.

It is a totally written pattern, but I have added a diagram for the fair isle stitches and colors of the first 64 rounds/rows.

Gauge: 23.3 stitches and 30 rounds/rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inch

Materials: 2 circular knitting needles of 3.5 mm (US = 4, UK = 9 or 10); 1 with a length of 60 cm (24 inch) and 1 with a length of 40 cm (16 inch).

Breipatroon spencer lorna

Een meisjesspencer met prachtige kleuren, die gedeeltelijk gebreid is met de Fair Isle techniek.

Constructie: deze spencer wordt van onder naar boven in het rond gebreid tot de armsgaten. Daarna worden achter- en voorpand afzonderlijk gebreid. De schoudernaden worden gesloten en er worden steken opgehaald langs de hals en armsgaten voor de boordsteek.

Niveau: Gemiddeld (u moet kennis hebben van: Fair Isle breien, in het rond breien en steken ophalen voor hals en armsgaten)

Maten: beschikbaar in 5 maten: 4 jaar, 6 jaar, 8 jaar, 10 jaar en 12 jaar en beschikbaar in het Nederlands en in het Engels.

Het patroon is helemaal uitgeschreven, maar ik heb ook een diagram met de fair isle steken en de kleuren toegevoegd.
