The Vibe Check Vest Pattern is a super chunky, boxy-fit sweater vest with a polo-neck and dropped armholes. She cute, she fun, she funky. Prepare for compliments.
This pattern is written in 4 sizes: S-M, L, XL-2XL & 3XL. Shown in photos on a UK8 wearing S-M.
Lots of photos and helpful links are included in the pattern but feel free to contact me if you need any extra help!

SUGGESTED SKILL LEVEL:
Intermediate/Beginner with experience in intarsia or Confident Beginner
Note: there are many helpful tutorials online for learning intarsia so whilst some experience will be useful it is possible to knit this vest without prior intarsia experience - in fact it was my first intarsia project!

YOU WILL NEED:
10mm circular knitting needles
12mm needles (straight or circular is fine)
2(S-M) 2.5(L) 3(XL-2XL) 4 (3XL) skeins of Chubbs Super Chunky 100% merino yarn in lavender (or similar 65m/100g yarn in colour of your choice)
2(S-M) 2.5(L) 3(XL-2XL) 4 (3XL) skeins of Chubbs Super Chunky 100% merino yarn in peppermint (or similar 65m/100g yarn in colour of your choice)
Tapestry/embroidery needle for weaving in ends
Row marker (a ring or loop of yarn works just as well!)

TECHNIQUES USED:
basic knit and purl, decreasing stitches, intarsia, picking up stitches. All of these are easy to learn and I’ve linked to helpful videos in the pattern to walk you through anything you don’t already know!

GAUGE:
10cmx10cm stockinette on 12mm needles = 8 stitches, 11 rows

The vest is knitted flat in two panels then seamed together with a polo-neck added by picking up stitches with circular needles.
