This collar comes in two sizes (SM and Med/Lrg). One skein of yarn is sufficient for both sizes. However, for the Med/Lrg, one skein of the Debbie Bliss (137 yds) will totally max out. There was barely enough yarn left to make the tie cord. If you do not have enough yarn, you can use a contrasting yarn for the tie or use satin ribbons as the tie and also add beads to the end in place of the leaves. I also knitted in some beads to the leaves of the lilac collar for that extra special feminine look and feel.
