The blanket is constructed of 3 wide panels in one color, 2 narrow panels and borders in a contrasting color.

This pattern sounds far more complicated than it is. Except for the center lace pattern these stitches are short repeats which makes it easy to keep track so after a couple of repeats you won’t need to watch the pattern to know what to do.
