The Victorian Essence neck warmer scarf is inspired by the Victorian Era fashion with the beautiful high lace trim collars on woman’s clothing. Designed just for you to warm your day with elegance and style Designed with a DK weight yarn to keep you warm and cozy in the colder days. This design has a classic touch with an essence of the past adding a unique touch to your wardrobe. Easy to crochet pattern that is perfect in any colour combination including neutrals, bright and bold or soft pastels.
Yarn: Takes approximately 138 yards / 125 m of DK weight yarn of your choice. You can use most DK weight yarns for this design just make sure you check your tension if before starting especially if you are using a different yarn. Makes changes at your end if necessary.
Yarn Used: The gray scarf with the clasp is made with 1 skein of Sweetgeorgia Yarns 100% Superwash Merino Wool DK 256 yards / 234 m per skein and the ivory scarf was made with 1 ball of Diamond Luxury Fine Merino Superwash DK 138 yards / 125 m per ball.
Crochet Hook: I used a H (5 mm) hook for the DK weight yarn. You may need to use one size up or down depending on your tension.
Other supplies: Yarn needle to sew in ends.
Buttons: You need 2 buttons to fasten size 20 mm or ¾ inch for the buttoned version and for the clasp version a 78 mm clasp or size you want to use. You could even use 2 smaller clasps if you prefer.
