I love this jar cover. It is one of a set of three items from my “Victorian Heirloom Bath Set”. So lovely!

These  Jar Covers remind me of my grandmother. She always had a pretty container in the middle of the table that held a huge amount of spoons. I still don’t know why she had them in the middle of the table. Maybe it was a fad back then?

When we would go to grandma’s house for a visit we would get a bowl of cheerios with brown sugar for breakfast. I always had a hard time picking which spoon I wanted because the handles were so pretty.  There were many sleek art deco styles, beautiful semi curved floral handled ones, but my favorite was dainty and lacey with miniature flowers on the handle…….
