This is an 8 page pdf file with instructions to make this pretty old fashioned wide headband with a large flower. Makes a great gift for yourself or someone special. This pattern uses Sport weight yarn and looks pretty in a single color or multiple colors. It’s a great way to use up some of your sport weight (3) stash. Great stocking stuffer or last minute gift.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner - The headband is easy, but the flower is more challenging. However, I have added many photos to help you through each step of the process. If you are ready for a flower challenge and know how to chain, slip stitch, sc, dc, hdc, and tr you should be able to complete this pattern.

There are four sizes (two child and two adult - see dimensions below) which should fit most everyone.

Dimensions: (Un-stretched):
Length (Diameter):
Toddler: 16 3/4 inches
Child (fits most): 18 3/4 inches
Small Adult: 20 3/4 inches
Large Adult (fits most): 22 3/4 inches

Width (at widest point):
Children sizes: 3 3/4 inches
Adult sizes: 4 1/2 inches

Half Sizes:
Each size is 8 stitches (in length - about 2 inches) larger than the last. If you need an in between size simply add 4 chains to your foundation chain. (This note is in the pattern).
