This pattern is inspired by the Victorian tiles on my front porch. It uses traditional motifs and stranded to colour work to capture the colours and tradition of the tiles.

The pattern is one size. Hand circumference of 20mm and length 20mm. If you prefer a slightly slimmer version you may wish to knit the rib edges using needles one size smaller than for the colour work.

The colours include 3 background colours and 5 contrast colours all in fairly small amounts, with the total weight of 45g for one pair. If you choose to substitute a colour consider, ensure that you substitute a background colour with another dark colour, and a contrast colour with another lighter colour.
